controller box

after using a remote to control our puppets, we needed to make our own input device out of an USB old keyboard. after ripping it apart i traced the wires to find what keys they matched.
i then had to solder the wires onto the keyboard chip. this part was very hard, i tried too many times on one terminal and ended up scraping off all of the metal which made the chip useless, so i had to use another keyboard.

attaching the wires to the switches was tricky, especially when i had finished all of them and put it together, but one of the buttons didn't work. some of the wires kept snapping, but in the end i got it working

i think my controller turned out pretty well, it had a good amount of buttons and switches which gave a lot of control to the puppet
